At this event, you will learn how to create a Customer Avatar profile your customer and how to make the right choices in your own marketing using the Customer Avatar as your guide.


You’ll leave with a clear understanding of the type of customer you want to reach, how to think deeper than basic demographics, and how to use the components of the Customer Avatar we build together as the building blocks of your own brand strategy.


About our Presenter


Laura Benjamin is a Brand and Web Marketing Strategist who partners with business owners, entrepreneurs, and solopreneurs to focus their marketing strategies and build systems that grow brands and business.


With nearly 20 years experience in brand and web marketing with businesses ranging from startups and regional change-makers to multimillion dollar global brands, Laura understands that what drives engagement and sales is a deep understanding of your audience and a finely crafted approach to connect with customers on deeper levels of identity, message, and experience.


Laura has presented seminars for industry leaders on building clear audience models, planning an effective brand, and designing digital marketing systems to generate leads and business growth. She has been invited to speak at universities, professional organizations, and economic development groups.


Laura’s work has won dozens of industry awards for brand design and website design, and her articles have been featured in trade blogs and industry publications. In addition to her work as a strategist, Laura owns a website services company, coaches entrepreneurs, and serves as a board member for her regional innovation center.


Laura holds a BA in communications from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.

This series of workshops is geared towards giving small businesses and startups the tools they need to succeed in the Chippewa Valley.
