Planning digital content and engaging your audience doesn’t have to be complicated. Let’s simplify things. In this workshop, participants will develop a strategic content marketing plan—mapping out a year’s worth of content, while also defining their publication strategy.

Capped at 20 participants, this two-part workshop includes a live one-hour webinar, followed by a 1:1 consulting call with Laura Riley, owner of Riley Content Group LLC.

Laura has developed strategic content for national organizations like Boston Consulting Group, AAA, and Zelle, tech-based startups including Sayge and Akindi, and local organizations like Downtown Eau Claire, Inc.

5 things you will accomplish in this two-part workshop:

  1. Identify topic themes to strategically guide your organization’s content.
  2. Identify the type(s) of content you want to create and/or curate (e.g. articles, podcasts, social posts).
  3. Outline your monthly publication calendar, defining the cadence of your content.
  4. Learn how to write and design posts to attract your target audience.
  5. Learn how to repurpose long-form content into short-form content.

  • bring a clear understanding of their product and/or service;
  • clearly define their target audience;
  • understand their brand voice and values;
  • have at least one existing marketing channel (e.g. website, email list, Facebook, Instagram).
