About the Event
Investing 101: Where do I start?
Presented in collaboration with Red Letter Grant and CoLab
In this conversational workshop, Kate Noe, co-founder and managing partner of River Prairie Wealth Partners, will demystify and simplify investing to give attendees a general understanding of the terms and tools.
When it comes to finances, many do not know where to begin or who to go to for advice to make the most of our financial future. This gap can especially be seen between women and men. Nearly 3 in 10 Americans have not begun to invest yet- 24% of women compared to 34% of men.
Through this interactive 1-hour presentation, Kate will use many visuals and materials to educate while keeping things conversational- come with questions!
This presentation will cover the basics:
·  Why is investing important?
·  What is compound interest?
·  Stock market 101
·  Types of investments
·  What to look for in a financial advisor and/or online investment platform
This workshop is open to anyone but will specifically give women who are interested in investment tools and information to take control of their financial future.
