Did you know your website has a carbon footprint? Every time we load a website, we use electricity and CO2 is emitted. However, there are ways we can reduce CO2 emissions from the websites we design, making them greener, more accessible, and even boosting their SEO.

This workshop will cover the environmental impact of the web, aspects that lead to a bloated website, and steps you can take to make your website more eco-friendly regardless of what website platform you use. Coding knowledge is not required to participate in this workshop. There is a Q&A with the live audience that follows the presentation.

She is the owner and founder of Blue Raspberry Design which is based out of Eau Claire, WI. She integrates her passion for the planet and its people into every aspect of her business. Amy is helping lead the green web design movement with the goal of making green websites the standard in the industry.
